Brief history about the company
The assembly of cold rooms and doors made in our modern facilities in the Industrial Area in Kryoneri Attica. Combined with German expertise, the engineering high-precision equipment (with 0,1mm accuracy) and 55 years experience, our industry produces equivalent German products but at much lower prices. The factory is open to the public and students for educative purposes for young professionals and offers of STOCK cold rooms for resale.

Foundation of AMERICAN MOTORS - Ch. Pilalis SA
AMERICAN MOTORS - Ch. Pilalis SA is founded with basis in the Industrial Area of Peristeri, Athens focusing on manufacturing all kinds of industrial and commercial cold rooms and refrigerators.
Agreement with German industrial group ems Thyssen-Krupp
An important agreement is concluded for the representation of the largest European manufacturer of coldrooms - the German industrial group ems ThyssenKrupp. The combination of German raw materials and German expertise has resulted in the rapid growth of the company establishing it in the Greek market as synonymous with the highest quality and reliability.
Transfer of AMP company
Transfer of AMP company to its new 16.000 m2 facilties in the Industrial Area Kryoneri, Athens, where it still up to today.
Modernization of production
We continue to represent the same German group and in order to meet the market’s demand for excellent quality at low prices, we modernize the production process and invest in new equipment. The cold rooms & doors obtain certification CE (EN13241-1).
Recognition with 'Strongest companies in Greece' title
Recognition of the company with the distinction STRONGEST COMPANIES IN GREECE by ICAP organization and certified by the British certification institute UKAS for quality management system for industry ISO 9001 : 2008 and then annual inspections for the observance of procedures that dictates the ISO.
Wider range of products
We are expanding the range of products we manufacture with doors for clean rooms for pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and the health sector, with special controlled atmosphere doors, with PVC fast-roll doors, with ramps for packing and food industries.
AMP Academy
The company created the AMP ACADEMY (series of training videos) for the training of young professionals, technicians, refrigerations. Our company opens its doors to learners refrigerant students in vocational schools and students at technical schools TEI and IEK on tour and show up in refrigerating chambers.

Accessories for Cold Rooms & Doors
In storage at AMP Industry components are maintained by refrigeration doors, resistances, gaskets, handles, levers and sanitary pvc profiles corners, decompression valves, hinges, antislip floors inox or plywood, especially shaped profiles shaped Type C, ready for delivery polyurethane panels in all thicknesses in order to be always available to new and older models.
